Mission Constructed...

The other night my pal Crissy rang me to see if I could come over for an impromptu tasting her "Gourmet Buffet" treats (dinner...) and I happily obliged! She lives in historic San Miguel near the Mission. I had my camera in the car so I got out and snapped some shots. I remember visiting that Mission many times as a little girl, BBQ's and fundraisers or just to walk around. Since the earthquake that shook our county in 2003, they have been re-building this amazing corner of San Miguel. Hopefully soon, they will have it ready and open for the public. As for me, I sneak in everywhere...

Shall I go North or South?

There were a lot of little birdies on the crosses this day!

If Jesus had a house, this looks like a door where He might greet you if you came over for a Gourmet Buffet...

Kelly's baby shower...it's a BOY!

This past Saturday, I was invited to a baby shower to help celebrate the coming of a second child for the Wangards. Kelly is an old, old friend from junior high school! She has been all over the map as an executive chef, and met her husband, Greg along the way. They recently moved back to our home town of Paso Robles where they are happily raising their daughter, Elle. Here we are to welcome into the world, Mason!
I heart you!

Happy girl!

Happy Birthday Janie

I just love birthday's! (So long as they aren't mine!) This particular party was fun to photograph not only because the group of people just brewed love, love, love for Janie who turned the wise 5-0, but also because of the majestic surroundings of Grand Chenier Ranch where they all live. The owners, Barbara and Rosco Moore converted and re-invented this old beat up barn into a warm and comfortable venue for every event! There is a king size bed upstairs overlooking the summer skies and horses below in pastures. I would LOVE to take my girls out there and have a slumber!

Raise that Cross

Led by Pastor Graham Baird and Caleb Landon of Highlands Church, we had a "raising of the cross" in March of this year. We have had quite the struggle keeping this cross up due to both weather and vandalism, but we are determined to pick it up and raise it every time. This time it's permanent, and the ceremony was heartfelt by everyone that attended. Thank you for all who helped us stand tall and raise that wonderful cross. The Lund Family

I had the opportunity to take photo's for a very sweet family at Robert Hall Winery last year. They were a family full of energy and it was a treat for me to be a part of their memory making. They were just moving out of Paso Robles, and we miss them terribly! I was able to capture some awesome sunset silhouette shots.

Run my base...

It's the season for baseball and my amazing dad still plays on a team here in town. He actually plays with many of the guys that played together all their lives, some since kindergarten!! It was a beautiful summer night and the stories I heard that night should stay in the dug-out!
